Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival: 2019

Epcot’s Flower & Garden festival is more beautiful and fun than ever before. Over the years, I’ve taken this festival for granted. Before I used to think, “What’s so special about a ton of flowers?” Now, I can’t get enough of it! Here are some of the things I enjoyed about my recent visits to the festival:

One of my favorite things about the festival is walking around the park and seeing the unique depictions of Disney’s iconic characters. Each of them are surrounded by beautiful, well-arranged flowers. If you’re someone who loves taking photos, the festival provides an endless array of photogenic backgrounds. Make sure to bring a good camera!📸

Let’s talk food and drinks. Epcot’s festivals are notorious for their outdoor kitchen stands. This year, three stands caught my eye. The first one, Fleur de Lys, is an outdoor kitchen in the France pavilion. There, they sell a delicious frozen slushy called, “La Vie en Rose”.

La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy is made of Vodka, Grey Goose Orange Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry Juice. I loved this delicious drink. So far, I’ve enjoyed both pink drinks that I’ve had at Disney (this one & the Minnie Millenial Pink Champagne from Amorette’s in Disney Springs).

The second outdoor kitchen stand that caught my attention was the “Florida Fresh” stand between the France and Morocco pavilions.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Carne Guisada was on the list of food items that this stand offered. What stuck out to me about this stand was that the beverages come from different areas of Florida such as St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota, and Gainesville. As a Florida local, I appreciated that Disney paid homage to the state where much of their property lies.

Finally, the third stand is an inclusive and healthy alternative to the other outdoor kitchens available during the festival. “Flavor Full Kitchen” is hosted by AdventHealth and offers healthy food items. Here, you’ll also find vegan and gluten-free options.

You’ll find this stand on the walkway from Future World West to the World Showcase. The Imagination building is right behind it. This stand is part of the “Health Full Trail” that also includes a play area and a mind full retreat where you can let your worries go. I’m glad to see Disney include this trail in the festival to promote healthy, fulfilling lifestyles. Besides the food and drink, here are a few things you may want to check out while you’re enjoying the festival:

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thank you for visiting my website and reading this post. I highly recommend attending Epcot’s Flower & Garden festival this year. While you’re there, put a little zest in your fest! (if you’re 21 or older) 😉
